DPS-16H and DPS-90 Signal Bridge Foundations
Wayside signal bridge. All Dixie Precast products meet or exceed AREMA standards.
Description
The Dixie Precast DPS-16H and the DPS-90 series are precast foundations that are commonly used for wayside signal bridge applications. The 16H/S90 has a standard eight bolt mounting pattern of 19” x 19” on 67” mast centers.
Dixie Precast supplies the bridge foundations as in a sectional format for quick and simple assembly in the field. The pieces have either lifting inserts or lifting hooks cast in place, which facilitate the easy placement of the foundation pieces. Dixie Precast utilizes the same thread on all of the lifting inserts throughout our product line, so the same lifting eyes can be utilized to set all of our foundations.
The sectional construction of the foundations allows for the maximum weight of each individual piece to be well within the lifting capacity of standard construction equipment. The sectional design also allows for damaged parts, such as the top or the bolts, to be replaced individually without removal of the entire foundation.
The design of the foundation makes it possible to configure the foundation to handle the various lengths of bridge structures, dependent upon the loading of the structure. Contact Dixie Precast for assistance in sizing the foundation for the structure. The Dixie Precast DPS-16H and DPS-90 Series Foundations meets or exceeds current
AREMA Standards.
